the last reader cards of the year

Well it's starting off to be a very cold day.  But today's card from our reader LouLou will warm your heart.  They are just that sweet.  I haven't made an Easel card yet but these cards have inspired me to try.  I love her use of a button to hold the card up!  You can just see the time and love she puts into her cards.  Thanks for sharing your work with up LouLou!

Happy Wednesday everyone!

Hello friends! It's me, Joni, here with a brand new challenge for our PCP group. If you aren't a member, come on over and join us! You can find the Doodlelicious girls and Whimsie Doodles group HERE. Melyssa not only offers wonderful thank you digis to her members, but we sure do have a lot of fun chatting with each other and seeing everyone's adorable cards.
For this week's challenge that I am hosting, it is called Countdown to 2010 and requires you to use numbers anywhere on your card. Here is my little sample using Whimsie:

With 4 of my children in school, I am always in need of a teacher's card! I used the numbers Cuttlebug folder, some wonderful Offray ribbon, and distressed school DP that has chalk writing scribbled on it. Now it's your turn, so come on over and join us. Good news!

Well what did you think of the readers cards?? Great aren't they?  If you have cards you'd like to share that include a WD image please send them along.   We love seeing our readers cards!!
I have some really exciting news!!!   The Whimsie Doodles Store is now fully automated.   That means you no longer have to wait for me to send you download links, the cart will do it for me and IMMEDIATELY!!
So just after you check out you will get an email containing all your links.  I'm really excited about this new cart, I hope you find it easy to use.

Today starts a new challenge for our Whimsie Wednesday over at Paper Craft Planet.  Check it out!

Jan 5th will be our new release day.  Every month on the 5th we'll be releasing new images.  And January is going to be extra special as we will be having a blog hop.  I'm really excited about this hop because it will be a day fun with new releases, discounts and prizes and a puzzle!  More details will be coming soon.

Did Ewe enjoy the new releases yesterday??

Well it was a great day for new releases.  Our wonderful DT definately had fun with our newest image Lush!

I think the first is a lamb or sheep baking maybe on a cupcake and the second is a snowperson caroling or singing.
