Whimsie Wednesday: Earth Day Challenge and Digi Giveaway

Welcome to another Whimsie Wednesday!

Thanh here with the Paper Craft Planet Challenge. April 22 is Earth Day so this week, I'm challenging you to create a project revolving around this theme.

What does Earth Day mean to you? How are you reducing your ecological foot print? Things you could do are:

• use a recycled item on your project from around your house
• have a reduce, reuse, recycle message
• incorporate a save Earth message (using the WD stamp - see below)
• paint or stamp with household objects
• make a project with only scraps and as many scraps as you can using earthy stuff
• use earthy colors
• incorporate all of the above into one?

At Whimsie Doodles, we believe in reducing our ecological footprint hence why most of our images are digi! To help spread the message, we're going to be giving away our Save Earth digi for a limited time.

Let's Hear it for the BOYS!!!

HEY DUDE!  Do ya know what day it is!?  It is WEDNESDAY and you know what that means, right?  A NEW challenge at PaperCraftPlanet!!  This is Nicole and I am hosting a challenge today featuring some 'MANLY-MAN' cards! HA!  I chose a masculine theme in honor of my two boys who have birthdays over the next week!  TODAY is my son, Isaac's 5th birthday!  I made this card for him last night using 'RIDE THE WAVE BEAR' that you can see in the store {HERE}and Isaac just loves it!  He had to go wake up his sister to show her his card!! {Isn't that cute!?} 

And for my son Eli who is turning 8 over the weekend, I made this card!  This is a new release digi 'SWING KOALE' that you can find {HERE} in the Whimsie Doodles store!  I used this one for Eli because Koale kinda looks like him!  Plus the wild papers appropriately represent his personality and character! HAHA!

Whimsie Wednesday Challenge: "Love Is In The Air"

Hello Whimsie fans!! It's Sheri here for this weeks Whimsie Wednesday Challenge!! This week I am challenging you to create a card emphasizing LOVE. It can be a Valentine or any other type of card. You just need to us a Whimsie Doodle image!!

My card uses the adorable new Elephant Shoes image. The balloon is popped up for extra dimension and to appear as if it is floating in the air!!

Whimsie Wednesday - Has Anyone been Seeing Red?

It's that time of the week again!

It's Thanh here to challenge you for the Whimsie Wednesday PCP Challenge.

What's the first colour that comes to your mind when you think of Valentine's Day? Does that same colour appear again when you think of Chinese New Year? :P

Red is my favourite colour and I thought it would be appropriate to celebrate the dual holiday with some flare! I challenge you to make a Whimsie Doodle card that is dominantly red and post it in the PCP forum for all to see.

Whimsie Wednesday Challenge #14

It is time for another fabulous Whimsie Wednesday Challenge over at our Paper Craft Planet group!!

This is my first time as hostess and I had such a great time coming up with the 'theme' and using the new images for my sample.

This weeks challenge is titled "From the Outside Looking In". Make a card using a Whimsie Doodles image that has a window of some kind on it.

Whimsie Wednesday Challenge: Keepin It Real

Hi Whimsie fans! Its Kelli here for this weeks Whimsie Wednesday challenge! This week, I challenge all of you to make a card, and Keep It Real. By that I just mean, replace a small part of the image with the real thing. For example, on this card, I used a piece of embroidery floss in place of the bow string in this Lil Cupid image. And I even used a rhinestone in place of the heart arrow.

Use your imagination on this one, replace strings, bows, buttons, ribbons...shoot, replace some eyes if you want, i bet googly eyes would look great on Whimsie ;)
