Let's Play

Hello everybody!

It is Patricia here with my first post as DT member of Whimsie Doodles. I hope you like my projects.

I followed the theme for our current monthly challenge at Whimsie Doodles blog, rainbow colors. Did you know that you don't need to use a Whimsie Doodles image for the chance to win?

Today I would like to share the card I made using the stamp called Crafty Lizzie that you can find here
I colored it mainly with Spectrum Noir markers but the skin is colored with Copics. For the background I used pigment inks and a circle stencil. For more details you can go to my blog

I hope you had a great weekend and you have a great week crafting!

Hang in There

Hi There,

It's Andrea here today wishing you all all very happy Friday.

Today I would like to share a card I made using one of the awesome Freebies that are available in the Store.

I love red and black and also love ladybugs so I really wanted to colour up the Hang in There image so out came my trusty copics.

I added some glossy accents to his nose and some black enamel accents to his black spots which added some extra dimension.  I paired the image up with some scrap pieces of designer paper I had in my stash. I picked up the cute wee wooden ladybug in the dollar shop a while ago and I had to add him to my card too! For a detailed list of the supplies I used please pop over to my blog.

Have a great weekend and happy crafting.

It's a Boy Thing!

Hi there,

It's Andrea here with some doodlelicious inspiration for you this Wednesday.

I don't know about you but I find male cards so hard to make and especially ones for teenage boys! Thankfully there are some awesome male images available in the Store which are perfect for these masculine makes.  For my card today I used Hoodie Jayson and he so reminds me of both my brothers when they were teenagers - hood always up and the hands in the pockets!

I coloured Jayson in with my copics and fuzzy cut him out. I paired him with some designer paper and grey card and mounted this onto an embossed card front.  I also added some ribbon and some blue enamel stars for texture. For full details on the supplies I used pop over to my blog.
I hope you like him.

Thanks for popping by and have a great day.

Warmest Holiday Wishes

Hi Whimsie Doodles Fans,

It's Andrea here today sharing yet another Christmas card! Not long to go now till Santa arrives... yikes only 12 days to go!

I have to say I love Christmas and making Christmas cards, and with all the amazing festive digi's available in the Whimsie Store I am totally spoiled for choice. For my card today I used some very cozy looking penguins.

I coloured the penguins in with my copics and fuzzy cut them out. I paired them up with some designer paper and layered them onto black card before mounting the image onto my card base.  I stamped the sentiment onto some scrap card and mounted it onto the base.  I also added some doodlebug sprinkles, glossy accents and enamel accents to complete the scene. I hope you like it.
For more information on the supplies I used please pop over to my blog.

Have a great weekend and see you soon.

Eat Ham

Hi everyone!  It's Susie and I'm here to show you this card using

Don't you love the sign?  Eat ham....ha ha ha.  I found the sentiment stamp and couldn't believe my luck! I added the die cut ampersand in the middle to connect the two sentiments.

I used my Silhouette Cameo to die cut my sign carrying turkey and then I colored him with Copic markers and some Wink of Stella.  I stacked the image three deep to give him some depth.

This card is on my blog today, and I'd love for you
to visit me whenever you can.

Make it a great day!

My Bookie

Hi everyone!
Laura here, and I wanted to pop in to share a project I have been working on...

I have been a bit crazy with creating journal and notebook covers lately, and I wanted to make a cover with Miss Adventure - My Bookie for a spot I can jot down books I want to look for when the kiddos and I visit the library.
(This is one of the super cute sets of CLEAR STAMPS that Melyssa has designed for A Jillian Vance Design.)

I found these simple 5x7 kraft notebooks at my dollar store, and bought the lot of them! I colored Miss Adventure with Copics to match some scraps of paper from my stash, and popped her up on the front. I thought this sentiment was perfect for my notebook!

That's all from me today!
Thanks for visiting!!

Be Unique

Hi Whimsie Doodles Friends,

It's Andrea here with some Doodlelicious Inspiration.  Shaker cards are very much on trend at the moment so I decided to create one using the awesome School of Fish digi.  I love these fish with their big eyes!

To make this card I printed the digi twice, with one of the images flipped so I could get a fish facing the opposite direction. I coloured three fish and the bottom gravel with my copics and cut them out.  I also completely cut out the inside of one of the fish bowls and replaced it with with acetate.   I lightly inked a portion of the card base, glued down the gravel and mounted the fish.  I added some seed beads and finally mounted the piece of card with the fish bowl to create my shaker.

Here is the view when the card is lying down:

And standing up:

I hope you like it.
Thanks for visiting, have a great day.

You're Paws-itively Fabulous

Hi Friends!  Susie here with a card for all you dog lovers.

I used one image from the Whimsie Doodles Paws I Care stamp set as the focal point of my card.  I think if I had a dog, this is surely what he would look like - absolutely adorable!!

This set has lots of cat and dog images and sentiments.  I can already imagine more cards using this sweet digi collection.

This time I thought it would be fun to place the main sentiment right on my puppy's dinner bowl.  I also added some googly eyes to make him even cuter!

This card is on my blog today and I'd love for you to visit me whenever you can.

Have a wonderful day!!

Jelly Bean Love

Hi Friends!  Susie here with another fun bunny card for you.

I used the Whimsie Doodles Jelly Belly image as the focal point of my card  This bunny and his love of jelly beans just makes me giggle!  After I colored the image, I matted it with plenty of layers so that it would really stand out.  I love the soft colors accented by the black.

This card is on my blog today and I'd love for you to visit me whenever you can.

Have a wonderful day!!

Easter is just around the corner, so today I would like to share an Egg-tastic card with you!  You can find an amazing selection of seriously cute Easter/Spring images in the store.  For my card I used EGG_scape and one of the sentiments included in the Egged collection.

The EGG_scape image is so much fun and is also a FREEBIE!! I only used part of the image for my card which I cut out.  I die cut some grass, some cute clouds and the frame then layered them all up using foam pads.  For more details on the supplies I used please visit my blog.

There is Gnome like you!

Happy Monday everyone, it's Andrea here sharing some Doodlelicous goodness with you.  Today I am showcasing one of  many super cute gnomes that Melyssa has created - this darling is called Gnome Wonder and can be found here!

For a wee gnome I just had to make a wee card!  I like to have a few small CAS cards in my stash that can be used for numerous occasions and this gnome definitely fitted the bill!

This card was super easy to put together - I coloured Mr Gnome with copics and added a few die-cut circles to a 4x4 base, stamped a sentiment and it was done!

Thanks for visiting, hope you have a great day,
