For this week's Tuesday Tutorial, we thought it would be fun to show you an adorable project for the Sweet Little Somethin' in your life!
What better way to remind your special someone that you love them than by counting down the days until Valentine's Day?
Check out this super cute countdown calendar!
Step 1-Punch out 14 dog tags (or cut 14 rectangles approx 1"x2.75")
Step 2-Punch holes in coasters and dog tags using the Zutter.
Step 3-Decorate the front of the calendar with DP, border punch, ribbon and Label 4.
Step 4-Stamp about 16 hearts in black ink. (I always stamp more images then needed in case I mess one or two up).
Step 5-Cut out the hearts. (I like to leave a white border when cutting out an image to make it look like a sticker).
Step 6-Loop Zutter coil through the coasters and dog tags . Close coils.
(only put 3 tags on the far left of calendar and 10 tags to the right. if you want to start your countdown with 30 days)
Step 7-Glue hearts onto dog tags and add numbers one for each heart. Starting with the far left side with 3,2 and 1. Then add the numbers onto the dog tags on the right side starting with 0,9,8,7,6 all the way to 1.
Step 8-Cut a strip of paper 3.75"x2". Create an accordian fold by scoring along the 3.75" side every .25".
Step 9-Attach to the inside of both coasters.
Materials: L'il Cupid stamps-Whimsie Doodles, Zutter and coil, 2 coasters, black ribbon, letter and number stickers Memory Makers, Dog Tag punch, Labels 4-Spellbinders, markers
