Elfling inspiration

Hello!!!

Today I bring you some inspiration for this upcoming Season. Making Christmas cards is not my favorite theme but I have to say that this year I am enjoying it.

I have this card for today using Candy Cane Elfling from the store. Don't you think it is cute? The image is colored with Spectrum Noir and Copic markers. The candy cane is shiny since I added some Wink of Stella but it doesn't show in the photograph.

I hope you like the card! For more details visit my blog.

Hugs,

Patricia

Using Coffee Lizzie

Hello!!

Patricia here to inspire you today!! It is getting very cold outside. This stamp makes me want hot chocolate!! I am using Coffe Lizzie and you can find it in Whimsie Doodles shop.

For this stamp I used several dies from My favorite Things. The sentiment is from Stampabilities and the embossing folder form Darice.

I colored Izzy with Copic (the skin) and Spectrum Noir markers.

I hope you like the card and you can enter our challenge this month. It is Anything goes time at Whimsie Doodles.

Christmas Greetings Tags

Hi everyone, it's Brenda today.  I have another fun make using Whimsie Doodles Christmas Greetings digital stamp set.  I wish I had a more creative way to showcase these darling tags, but...here ya go -

I colored up the tags with Copic markers and punched them out with a circle punch.  They were matted with holographic paper from ColorBok and then cardstock.  A bow was added as well as some baker's twine to tie them to a package.  These are quick and easy to make during the busy holiday season and are perfect for our current challenge twist.

Thanks for taking a look!

Hugz,
Brenda

Cookie Lizzie

Hello!!

Patricia here to show you a tag.

I am using Cookie Lizzie, you can find her in Whimsie Doodles shop.

I used Copic and Spectrum Noir markers to color the image and I die cut the oval with a die cut from Elizabeth Craft Designs. The tag is made with a die from My Favorite Things and I used distress ink and some stamps to make the background. The cookware stamps are from Recollections and the sentiment is part of one clear stamp from Studio G.

I hope you liked the card and you have a project to enter in our challenge. Anything goes at Whimsie Doodles!!!

Old DT Member, New Again!

I'm BACK!  When I had my daughter Maggie, I stepped down from the Whimsie Doodles team and I hated it. But now that my daughter is almost 3, I have a bit more time to stamp! Melyssa graciously let me back on the team and I'm so excited!

I was asked to do an intro post, so here goes! My name is Joy Stagg. I'm an addictions therapist part time, and part time stay at home mom, so I get the best of both worlds. I love to read, travel, spend time with family and friends, and I love watching my daughter grow up. Maggie is a total Disney FANATIC! So I look at these images completely differently now, lol! Isn't that the great thing about creating, all the inspiration around us!

Today is my first post for the team and I'm showing you my card using the Whimsie Doodles image Heart Fairy, found on the What's New Page
She is of course inspired by the Queen of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland, but this little gal is much much sweeter of course!

Thanks for stopping by, keep coming back for more Whimsie Doodles Greatness!

Be sure to check out all the images at the Whimsie Doodles store
