Some hugs for everyone...

Patricia here to show you some inspiration with Whimsie Doodles images.

I hope you like this card I made with the image called Leah's Secret. You can find this image and others in this page of the shop

Instead of thinking that she was keeping a secret I wanted to think she was blowing a kiss. I really like to make CAS cards. I don't know very well how to do cards with a lot of embellishments. Besides, I like flat cards because they are easier to mail and not so expensive.

The image is colored with Spectrum Noir markers mainly, but the face is colored with Copic markers. If you want to know more details about this card, you can check my blog

I hope you like the card and you have the time to go to the Whimsie Doodles blog to play this month's challenge.

Hugs, Patricia.

Introducing Doodlelicious Diva Brenda

Hi Whimsie Doodles Fans,

We are excited to introduce another new diva to our team. Please welcome Brenda :)

'Hi, I’m Brenda Nakandakari . I live in Honolulu, Hawaii with my sweet husband. We have a grown son making his way in the world and a daughter just getting ready to spread her wings after graduating from college.

During the day, I work as an RN/diabetes educator at a local hospital. In my spare time I love doing crafts of all kind. I am most passionate about card making. I would say my style is random, but I love cute, so you know I jumped at the chance to join the Doodlelicious Divas here at Whimsie Doodles!'

Brenda made this gorgeous shimmery card using one of this months new releases. This adorable unicorn is part of a set which you can find in the What's New section of the store.

I love the background rainbow and the puffy clouds.
This card is perfect inspiration for our current April Rainbow Colors Challenge. We would love it if you could play along with us, the linky is open for another two days. Remember you don't have to use a Whimise Doodles image to play!

Thanks for popping by today, see you again soon.

Let's Play

Hello everybody!

It is Patricia here with my first post as DT member of Whimsie Doodles. I hope you like my projects.

I followed the theme for our current monthly challenge at Whimsie Doodles blog, rainbow colors. Did you know that you don't need to use a Whimsie Doodles image for the chance to win?

Today I would like to share the card I made using the stamp called Crafty Lizzie that you can find here
I colored it mainly with Spectrum Noir markers but the skin is colored with Copics. For the background I used pigment inks and a circle stencil. For more details you can go to my blog

I hope you had a great weekend and you have a great week crafting!

Introducing Two New Doodlelicious Divas

Hi Whimsie Doodles Fans,

We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who applied to join our small team, the entries were fantastic and we had a hard time choosing some new members. Unfortunately we could not take everyone!  So without further ado please welcome our two new Diva's.

My name is Patricia Alvarez. I am from Spain but I have been living in the USA for several years. I have been drawing animals since I can remember, but I started making cards a few years ago. I love coloring rubber and digital stamps and make cards with them. I usually make CAS cards, but I am learning little by little other styles. Outside of the crafting world, I love to be outdoors with my family, spending time with my friends and reading. You can visit Patricia's blog here
My name is Karen, and I enjoy papercrafting, sharing and inspiring others with my creations. I absolutely love using rubber stamps and/or digi images, then coloring them with my Copic markers. Papercrafting is my passion, keeps my life balanced, and takes me to my happy place. I have been blogging since January 2012 and have had the opportunity to work on many Design Teams.
I was born and raised in the beautiful state of Washington. I currently live in the city of Tukwila with my hubby, Kurt. We have been married 34 years and we have two handsome sons, Kyle and Kory. I am a Finance Tech II for a large school district during the work week. Evenings and weekends, I try to spend time in my crafty space whenever time allows.
Besides having a passion for papercrafting, I also enjoy baking, cooking, eating good food, red wine, dark chocolate, traveling and laughing. Basically, I just want to have fun and enjoy life!
“The most important thing is to enjoy your life—to be happy—it's all that matters.” - Audrey Hepburn
You can find me at Catch the Frenzy!

These two lovely ladies will be joining our awesome Kel Acopan. You can find all Kel's gorgeous makes at

And Andrea MacTrinh. You can find all my crafty makes at

However we do not want to leave you without any eye candy, so here is a sneak peek of one of the new releases coming your way on the 5th!
