Tuesday Tutorial on Thursday: Creating Digital Backgrounds

Hello Blog World!  I apologize for the late post today, this pollen has my head spinning!  Our Tuesday Tutorial got pushed to today because of the new releases this week.  You willnot be disappointed.... it is fabulous!  Our very own Doodlelicious Diva, Donna Espiritu, created this especially for us!
Thank you so much Donna!

1. Open editing software.
2. open a 5x5 new document.
3. Open the digital image you want to use on the background.
On my example, I used one of the Baby sentiments.
 4. Erase the rest of the image except the part you only want to use.
5. You can color the image digitally or leave it as is and color it later with your own markers.
6. Arrange it any way you like. On my example, I resized it in various sizes and scattered them around.
 7. (Optional) You can also have a colored background. Just add new layer (so you won't cover the star/heart image), choose the color you want and use paint bucket to fill in color on the new layer.
7. Print, cut and use on your card.
 8. Then use it on your card...
I highlighted the little hearts with glitter pen.
and a boy version

Be sure to visit us tomorrow for our Featured Set(s) Friday--- they'll be on sale for the day and you won't want to miss that discount code!
