Tuesday Tip: Sweet Niblets, this is a Great Idea!!

This week's helpful tip comes from Joy...  thanks girl!  I know lots of people will find this useful!!

I tend to hoard everything, and that includes containers- because they are so easily altered! I collect baby jars from people at work, keep food containers- everything! For food- if I want to get rid of a smell inside the jar, I just wash the jar, stick some newspaper in it, put the lid on it, and stick it in the freezer for a couple of days- the smell is absorbed into the newspaper.

I took a prima container (obtained at the 1.99 spot at Archivers) peeled off the labels (with a little help from Goo Gone)...

paired it with a new image from Halloween Minis, and VIOLA, an instant candy treat!

this is such a fab idea, I have just recycled a lovely little jar I could have used, I am kicking myself now!

How long did those sweeties stay in there I wonder?

What a GREAT idea !!! I too tend to keep things like that till I get tired of seeing them laying around then just AFTER I toss them or recycle I see a post like this & kick myself cuz now I NEED it !!!
This is a wonderful way to make little treats for the grandkids to stick in a package when I mail them off.
Thanks for the tip, Janie

My daughter has a small day care and she has had a couple of babies and she keeps the gerber baby plastic food container, I took some and put my little brads or buttons in them...
These would be great for Halloween treat boxes...tfs

Just had to tell you that this idea really works! I put two stinky olive jars in the freezer with newspaper, and they came out of the freezer 'stink-free'. Thanks for the tip! LC
