I'm loving all the new patterned papers coming out with the glitter on them. I hate having to pay extra for the sweet bling so I thought I'd make my own. It's pretty easy if you have the supplies. So let's get started.
You will need:
Card base (plain cardstock)
Double sided sheet of tacky tape
Glitter
Various size circle punches (or what ever shape you prefer)
Step 1: start by choosing your cardstock (card base). Then select the shapes you'd like to see glittered on your cardstock. I choose circles, but any shape will do.
Step 2: Punch out your shapes from the tacky tape sheet.
Peel off the one side of the tacky tape and attach them to your card face.
**Allow the punched shapes to go off the page, it will look more realistic.
***Save some of the peels for your next step.
Step 3: Flip your card face over and re-attach some of the "peels" to the bits of tacky tape that hand over the edge.
Now cut the access off. The "peels" will prevent the tape from sticking to your scissors.
Step 4: Peel off the front of the tape.
Step 5: Generously add glitter over the exposed tape. I rub the glitter into the tape with a finger just to make sure the entire surface is covered well.
Step 6: Shake off the excess glitter and finish your card!
Here's my finished card.

Oooh! What a fun idea! You could even leave some tape covered and do one color at a time so you'd have multi-colored dots, etc on one page.
