The DT position is for 6 months: July 1 – Dec. 31, 2009. This call is open to everyone, worldwide and will close on June 13, 2009.
The DT will be announced on June 17, 2009.
Design Team Requirements
- Must have your own blog and be an “active” blogger with a minimum of (2) posts per week- Have online galleries that showcase your work
- create a card or layout using a provided sketch (1 per month)
-create a min. of 2 cards/items per digi image (Whimsie Doodles images must be the main focus of your creations, this can also include the sketch requirement)
-Blog about your cards/crafts at least once a week and post all cards /crafts using Whimsie Doodles products in on-line galleries. A Splitcoast gallery is considered a bonus.
-Photos of your creations must be good clear images.
To apply please email the following information to whimsiedoodles@eastlink.ca with “Doodle Design Team” in the subject line.
To apply please submit the following:
-4 of your favourite creations (3 must be cards and 1 is your choice). Please keep these files small.
-Link to your blog(s)- Link to other galleries- a brief Bio and tell us why you’d like to be a part of Whismsie Doodles DT, and what your favourite techniques and embellishments are.
what type of images would you like to see in the future for Whimsie Doodles. - Previous or current DT work & or publications (Newbies are welcome)(You do not have to use Whimsie Doodles images to apply)
-Let us know if you have a Cricut or other paper cutting machine
-Please include your name and email in your application

Your blog will be linked to Whimsie Doodles company blog and fellow DT members blogs
Your own “Doodle Badge”

Okay... I've been hmmming and hawing about this for days, and think I will make a submission after all! I've been in hiding for awhile, but will come out of my shell (LOL @ bad pun) and try my hand at submitting an application!
