Nicole's cards

Good morning everyone. I hope you enjoyed your long weekend. I can tell you mine was interesting with a cat that was sprayed by a skunk!
Today's line up comes from our DT member Nicole. Her cards are always a treat to see, she uses layers, mixed patterns and embellishments on every card. The result is always gorgeous. She creates depth in her images using highlights and shadows flawlessly.

Her first card features our Voodoo stamps "Such a Pain". Notice how she offset the side border to draw your eyes to the Voodoo girl, then she placed the sentiment slightly behind the same image to keep the focus on her.

This next card features our freebie "This Bud". Nicole's colours give the card a gentle feel and her colouring is fantastic. The rose really pops from the page.

Nicole combined two digi stamps here. "The sky's the limit" sentiment and "Sunny Day" cupcake hotair balloon. Her cupcake looks good enough to eat!

For Nicole's next fabulous card she used "School things". Nicole cut a section of DP to show children in the background playing. What a unique way to add a border that directly links to the image.

Lastly we have a "School bears" card. Nicole's bears are holding hands on their way to school.
