Tuesday Tutorial: Easy Treat or Tea Bag Holder

Easy Treat or Tea Bag Holder
This little folder is perfect for holding a sweet little something for your sweetie, a tea bag for a get well goodie or even folded up money (my kind of treat—lol!).

Supplies:
Whimsie Doodles Lil’ Cupid rubber stamp set
(1) piece of cardstock measuring 3-1/2” x 11”.
(1) strip of designer paper or cardstock, measuring 8-1/2” in length (you determine width)
Ribbon, buttons, designer paper, etc, for embellishment
Sticky strip (or other strong adhesive)
Candy or other treat for the pocket

Directions:
Step 1: Take your 3-1/2” x 11” piece of cardstock, and score it at 3-1/2”, 7” and 7-1/2”.
Step 2: On the outer right hand square, you’ll create a triangle by cutting from the bottom edge to the top left hand corner.
Step 3: Apply sticky strip (or other strong adhesive) to the bottom of the triangle and fold it over to create a pocket for your treat.
Step 4: Create a belly band with your 8-1/2” strip of cardstock by folding it around your treat holder and adhering both ends together.
Step 5: Add stamped images and embellishments to complete your project.
Step 6: Add your treat!
