Tuesday Tutorial: Hanging Seed Packet Holder

My tutorial today is for a simple hanging treat holder to hold vegetable of flower seeds for your favorite gardener-- think Mother's Day :)  It is inspired by the hanging treat box tutorial that can be found on SCS {here}.  You can think of all sorts of things to tuck in the pouch as a cute and super simple gift!

Here is what you need:
11 x 3-7/8" piece of cardstock
circle punch (size determined by what you are hanging the pounch on)
ribbon
stamps or digi images
seed packet(s)
water bottle (or garden shovel)
embellishments, designer paper and card stock scraps

Step 1
Score your cardstock on the long side at 2 incles and 6-1/2 inches.

Step 2
Use your circle punch to make a hole in the center 2 inch portion of the cardstock you just scored.

Step 3
Fold the cardstock together, placing your seed packets in the fold and secure them by tying a piece of ribbon around the whole folded piece.

Step 4
Decorate to your heart's content!
My project features the Sow Leah image!  Isn't she SOW CUTE??
Sorry--  I can hardly resist a bad joke-- ha ha :)

Other fun stuff:
You don't have to just attach this to a water bottle!  By simply adjusting the size of the circle punch, it becomes an adorable addition to a garden shovel!
And check this fun project out by Whimsie Doodles customer, Silvia Mabie!
Her project features the Have a Seat set!  Too cute!!
Have a great day!  See you tomorrow for our Whimsie Wednesday challenge!
