Tuesday Try This: Transparent Thread

Our Doodlelicious Divas are full of great ideas!  Thank you, Joy, for sharing this super useful tip!

I do a lot of sewing on my cards, and I hate changing the bobbin- and I have a Janome Sew Mini and you can only use the bobbins they send you.  So, my tip for you is to use Transparent Thread on the bobbin!  This will be only seen on the backing of the card, and this way, you never have to change the bobbin- only the thread at the top of your sewing machine! Saves a lot of time and hassle!

How very clever! I have a Janome Sew Mini as well and I use bobbins I got at Jo-Ann's...work just fine. I love the idea of not having to change the bobbin! Thanks for the awesome tip!

Fantastic tip! That is why I don't sew on my cards. All that bobbin changing. Wow I should have know that.
Thanks for the wonderful time saver.

this is a great idea and will solve those little problems I seem to have, like sewing with black thread and ooops a white bobbin.

Thanks for the tip ... You make me "sew" happy !!! Love not having to change the bobbin as I also have that adorable little machine & don't use it too often because of that very thing.
Hugs, Janie

You're an absolute GENIOUS. OMG - I love this idea. I have this same machine and I have only used it a little bit and always have to get out my manual to re-thread and do the bobbin. This is such a great idea. And I also bought two pairs of pants that need some hemming - I haven't done much sewing in eons, this oughta be interesting.
