Hi Whimsie Doodles fans! I'm Linda, and I am hosting the Whimsie Challenge this week. I am challenging you to say 'goodbye summer' with a card or a project.
What do you think about when you hear the words 'end of summer'? Do you think about the pool closing, buying school clothes, or the hectic schedule that is coming? This September, do you have your first kindergartener or your last senior? The end of summer always makes me think of Grease with Sandy and Danny saying goodbye.

I think most of us agree that summer is always too short. Whimsie Doodles' Koale feels the same way. As he swings on the last day of summer vacation he wonders where the summer went.
Now it's your turn to say 'goodbye summer'. Would you like to participate and win a prize? After you have completed your card or project just link it with the Link button below. Be sure and leave a comment so we know you are participating. You have until Tuesday, Sept. 7, at midnight, to upload your entry, get it linked, and entered in the contest. A winner will be chosen by random drawing.
A Whimsie Doodles image is not required to enter, but if you have one, we would love to see what you can do with it.
We hope you are inspired to create and say 'goodbye summer'!
Upload your 'goodbye summer' project here.

Saying "good bye" to summer makes me think of the closing of our local ice cream stand. It always sad to see the "closed" sign posted outside. I will have to gather my WD images and see what I come up with. Thanks for the opportunity.
The first day of school reminds me of good bye to summer. Today was the first day in 52 years that I didn't have to go to school , but I went and volunteered in my friends classroom. It was so much fun not to have all the stress doing the things I love.
Your card is wonderful. I love the ABC's hiding in the tree. I taught first grade.
