Snowman Snapshot

Hello there!

It's Laura here and I have a new project to share today.   When I saw this super cute image, I thought immediately of my youngest son  and quickly coloured up a holiday card for him.  I know he will get a kick out of this as I turned it into a sort of snow globe type card.

I printed up this image onto copic paper and coloured him in, then I printed it again onto patterned paper and cute out the image from the 'Polaroid' frame.
I added a piece of acetate behind the frame, as well as some strips of chipboard to create space to add int he glitter.  Then I adhered the image to the back, creating a focal point for my card that resembles a snow globe.

A poinsettia embellishment with die cut leaves.

I couldn't resist a bit of bling, even on a boy's card - my little guy will love it!
Baker's twine in a Christmas-y red and a sentiment finish off the card.

You can find this sweetie and more great digis in the Whimsie Doodles Store!  And don't forget there is always some sweet inspiration going on here at the Whimsie Doodles blog, so check in daily.  And tomorrow we launch our latest challenge!

Thanks for visiting!
Laura
