Mister Bunny

Hi Whimsie Doodles Friends,

It's Andrea here.

 Can you believe it is nearly Easter? Where is the time going!? 

Today I would like to share a simple masculine Easter card with you. 

This cutie is called Mister Bunny and you can find him here in the shop. I love his outfit with the cutie bow tie.

I coloured him in with my copics, added some glossy accents to his nose and black enamel to his eyes to give him a bit more character. I paired him up with some coordinating designer paper scraps and a couple of sequins. The sentiment is computer generated.

Happy Easter

This month's digi's were created with thicker lines to make them easier to colour.  I'm glad they are it was so easy for my tired eyes to stay in the lines and by adding a little chalk for blush and these cuties just came alive.  You can find the new releases here...http://www.whimsiedoodles.com/whats-new.html

See the little orange glitter scallop border?  It's actually Halloween washi tape.  I had a eureka moment when I spied the tape. You just never know what you can mix and match :)

New Release - It's Bunny TIme!

Hi Whimsie Doodles Fans,

It's new release time and Melyssa has created some fabulous new Easter/Spring bunnies for us.

Two Cards to Share

Hello!  Larisa here bringing you two sweet cards.  With Easter just days away, I thought I'd first share this little cutie!  This is the Egged set which can be found under the Easter Section of the shop.  I thought it was so cute!  I just had to use it! 

I also have another card to share.  This is Hoodie Jayson.  As a mother of a son, I'm always on the look out for "boy" designs.  I just love this one and decided to make a birthday card out of it.

Egg-stra Special Easter

Hello friends, it's Andrea here.  

Easter is only a few days away and I'm sure everyone is looking forward to the long weekend :)   Today I'm sharing a quick and easy Easter card with you, perfect for all those last minute makes! 

This digi is Special Easter and and can be found here.  I had so much fun colouring this egg!  

 

I used a tag die and framed it with some bright candy coloured spotted paper. I couldn't resist adding a variety of coloured twine.  I then mounted the tag onto the reverse side of an embossed spotted background and added some sequins for extra pops of colour. Chocolate Bunnies

Hi, it's Andrea here, wishing everyone a happy Sunday.

Today I am sharing another Easter card with you!  I seem to be on a roll with them this year and am having lots of fun. The hardest decision I have is deciding which image to use as there are so many fantastic Easter images in the shop.  For this card I chose 'love chocolate bunnies'.  This sweet image is a FREEBIE and can be found here.

I coloured her in with my trusty copics and hand-stitched a border round her and on the background papers.  I also added some burlap and some very cute easter buttons that I have had in my stash for a long time. More information on the supplies I used can be found on my blog. 

 The theme for our challenge this month is 'spring in your step' so remember to link up all your gorgeous spring and Easter cards.

You've been Egged!

Hi Whimsie Doodle Fans,

It's Andrea here.  Can you believe we are nearly half way through March already! Easter is just around the corner, so today I would like to share an Egg-tastic card with you!  You can find an amazing selection of seriously cute Easter/Spring images in the store.  For my card I used EGG_scape and one of the sentiments included in the Egged collection. 

The EGG_scape image is so much fun and is also a FREEBIE!! I only used part of the image for my card which I cut out.  I die cut some grass, some cute clouds and the frame then layered them all up using foam pads.  For more details on the supplies I used please visit my blog.

Hello Chickie!

Hi everyone! Laura here with my newest Doodlelicious Diva creation. Today I have used the new Easter Chick image. I think Lizzie looks so cute all dressed up as a chick for Easter!

She is colored with Copics, and that perfectly matched chick paper is from the Doodlebug Spring Time pad. I finished it off with a sentiment from C.C. Designs.

I {Heart} Chocolate Bunnies! 8-)

Hi All! Shannon here! Hope you've all been having a Wonderful week so far! Today I'm back to share my latest Whimsie Doodles, Doodlelicious Diva creation featuring the Super Cute I Love Chocolate Bunnies image!...8-) Isn't she just the Sweetest!! And even better she is FREE!! You Gotta Love that! ;-)

I printed out my Darling I Love Chocolate Bunnies image, onto Flourishes Classic White, did a little paper piecing and colored up the rest with my Trusty Copics... I cut her out with the help of my Classic Ovals large & small Nesties sets and popped her up with a bit of Foam tape.

For my mats and BG layers, I chose a combination of Choice Buttercream CS & some Adorable dp's from Doodlebugs Hello Spring 6x6 collection. And to finish it all up I added a fun little small scallops border die cut, some sweet adhesive pearls and some Cheery Polka dot ribbon from my stash! 8-)

You can find the Super CUTE I Love Chocolate Bunnies along with a bunch more Darling images in the shop's Freebie section.. Just in time for Easter too! ;-)
