Ladybug Day

For my inspiration post today I am using Ladybug Day found in the Summer Fun Digi's  tab in the SHOP.  The weather in the Pacific NW has been lovely and I just wanted to make one more card that was summery, bright and cheery.  Love these cute little ladybugs!

I made a simple easel style card with one of my favorite color combo - Black, Red and White

The image was colored using my Copic markers. I layered a black gingham strip from my scrap pile, over the top of a red scalloped border.  The image was layered on red cardstock. 

To finish my card, I stamped my sentiment with black ink and I have to confess, the cute little stitched die cut heart is covering an ink smudge.  It happens, but I love when I figure out how to salvage the card and not feel compelled to start over.

Hi Friends!  Susie here with another shaker card for you.

I used the Whimsie Doodles Ladybug Day image as the focal point of my shaker.  I thought these two ladybugs were adorable - perhaps they are on a fun outing together.

As you know, I love making shaker cards.  And I love making the image just the right size for my project each time. This was an easy image to color and I am thinking it would be really easy to mass produce this card.

This card is on my blog today and I'd love for you to visit me whenever you can.

Ladybug Day

Hi all...

Christine here - and today I'd like to share a card I made using the fabbie Ladybug Day image - available HERE at the store.

I thought this would be perfect for a friend of mine who is moving house soon - so I gave the card the new home sentiment.  Those ladybugs were so darn cute to colour!  I tried a dotty background to give the impression of sky too.

You Can NEver Have Too Much Happy! 8-)

Hi All! Shannon here... Hope you've all been having a Wonderful week so far! Today I'm back to share my latest Whimsie Doodles, Doodlelicious Diva creation featuring the Super Darling Ladybug Day image!...8-) Aren't they just the Cutest!!... 8-)

I printed out my Darling Ladybug Day image, onto Flourishes Classic White and colored them up with my Trusty Copics... I cut them out and popped them up with a bit of Foam tape.

My mats and BG layers, are a combination of Red & Kraft CS's from my stash & some Adorable dp's from Simple Stories Summer Fresh collection. And to finish it all up I added some sweet ribbon from my stash! 8-)
