An apple for the teacher with Laura

Hello all!

It's Laura here & it is my turn to post, since yesterday was the official back to school day in my neck of the woods, I thought I would post something relating to that.

So I went looking for inspiration and came across this post from Jennifer Maguire, with some super cute little note cards.  But I knew I wanted to do a few things differently, she offers a free print file for the card bases.  But I decided to skip that and create my own print and cut file for my Silhouette, that way I can easily alter the personalization, sizes etc.  Love that machine!

I also decided to use the print and clip apple for my focal point, you can find it here, in the Whimsie Doodles store.

Here is what I created.....

 Yes they are a complete lift.... just created my own way... they are super cute and fun to make!

... a first day of school gift for the teach.... yes I maybe buttering her up!

Sunny Day and School things

Well it's almost the end of the week, wow where does the time go??
Starting Monday we'll be kicking off another speak peek week. I can't say anymore than that right now so let's look at so ubber creative cards by the DT shall we?

Kelly used the Thank You Teacher stamp set to make to this desktop organizer set, what a sweet gift for your favorite teacher.

School cards

Are you getting ready for school? I know I've been! h? Today's line up not only features our School Bears but a scrapbook page!

Joni created this gorgeous card with bright primary colours and a piece of writing paper.

Kelli made her fabulous card using softer girly colours with hand drawn faux stitching.

Sneak Peek Last Day!

Yooohooo tommorrow is new release day and we find out who has won free digi's!

Today's card are from a new set of School Sentiments.

The "Pre K" background is one of the sentiments in the set, I used PS to create copies of the word to make the background you see here. The circle sentiment and apple are also part of the same set. I enlarged it to for this card.
