Hello from Doodlelicious Diva Larisa

Well, Hello there!  Just wanted to pop in and introduce myself in the midst of this busy holiday season.  No doubt you are finishing up your holiday shopping right about now and are hopefully ready for the fun and magic that awaits!  Personally, I am running around like a crazy person which is always what happens right before Christmas.  I usually have way too much on my plate and never enough time :)  But enough about that... I'm supposed to introduce myself!

Hello, my name is Larisa Hohman and I'm a craft-a-holic!  Like many crafters, I have been doing this for quite some time.  (about 15 years).  I started with scrapbooking and eventually discovered Copic markers.  That was all it took, I was hooked!  It opened a world of crafting possibilities that I didn't even know existed.  $2 Bizillion dollars later... I now have a decent stash of Copics and like Kel, I also have an out-of-control supply of crafting "stuff."  I would ask if there's a support group I can join, but let's be honest, I don't really want to get "better" :)

I am happily married to my sweet hubby of 8 years and just recently had an adorable baby boy.  He is the MOST amazing thing that has ever happened to me and we are so blessed to have him!  I am a high school English teacher (but please don't grade my grammar)  and a part time senior photographer.  I love to bake, watch scary movies, and spend time with my little one.  Oh, and of course I LOVE stamping.  I can't tell you how excited I am to be apart of this Design team.  I have been a fan of Whimsie Doodles since the day they started and I've just been waiting for them to have a DT call.  I can't wait to share my creations with you so be sure to visit my blog and check out all my projects :)
Ok, thanks for letting me chat your ear off.  Sometimes I can be a little long winded :)

Now, on to the cards:

For this sweet little card, I used Stocking Goodies.  This is one of my absolute favorite stamps.  I just love how cute she is in her PJ's, checking to see what Santa left her!  I just colored her up with my Copics, found some cute holiday paper, and there you go!  The sentiment is also from Whimsie Doodles.  It's part of the Holiday Sentiments Collection.

Now, I couldn't stop there... remember, I told you I'm a craft-a-holic!  So I also created a card with this little guy.  This is Happy Elf.  Isn't he just the cutest!  The minute I saw him, I knew I had to make a card with him!  I decided to really bling this one out and make it fun!  So, I added some ornament stickers to the top and some random snowflake stamps.  What a cutie!

And that's all folks!  Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a Merry and Safe Christmas!

Stocking Goodies... 8-)

Hi All! Shannon here, and a Very Happy Saturday to you!  Hope you've all been having a Wonderful weekend so far! Today I'm back to share my latest Whimsie Doodles, Doodlelicious Diva creation featuring the Absolutely Darling  Stocking Goodies  image! Isn't she just the Sweetest Ever! 8-) So Darned Cute with her Adorable little jammies and bed head hair... Just can't help but smile at this little Sweetie! 8-)
I colored up my Sweet Stocking Goodies Cutie with my trusty Copics, did a little paper piecing for her jammies, stocking and present too. I fussy cut her out & popped her up with a bit of foam tape onto layered SB Classic Circles & Scallop Circles Die cuts..
For my mats and BG layers, I chose a combination of brown CS from my stash and some Sweet Festive dp's from Echo Park's This & That Christmas 6x6 collection. And to finish it all up I added a Sweet little Christmas tree created with TE's Trim the Tree Dies, a touch of shading with Vintage Photo Distress ink here and there, a few adhesive pearls, some red glimmer ribbon and a fun little star embellie to top it all off! 8-)

You can find the Super CUTE Stocking Goodies image along with the rest of the Darling New images in the shop's What's New section!

Hope you all have a Fabulous day & thanks so much for dropping by! 8-)
