Happy New Year

Hi everyone!  It's Susie and I'm here to show you this card using

Isn't this guy just about the cutest snowman you've ever seen?  I colored him with Copic markers after using the print and cut feature on my Silhouette Cameo.  I added some gold stars and a bit of Wink of Stella to finish my card.

This is my last post here on the blog.  I've had a wonderful time as a Doodlelicious Diva...but now it's time for me to move on.  However, I'll still be following the blog and can't wait to see YOUR work.

This card is on my blog today, and I'd love for you
to visit me whenever you can.

Make it a great day!

Skates for Christmas

Hi everyone!  It's Susie and I'm here to show you this card using

When I saw this image, I knew exactly how I would color it.  I wanted it to look rather vintage, so I selected soft hues of coral and green.

I can't wait to mail this card along with some other Christmas cards this week.  I hope you are making cards too - it makes the most wonderful time
of the year even more so!

This card is on my blog today, and I'd love for you

Eat Ham

Hi everyone!  It's Susie and I'm here to show you this card using

Don't you love the sign?  Eat ham....ha ha ha.  I found the sentiment stamp and couldn't believe my luck! I added the die cut ampersand in the middle to connect the two sentiments.

I used my Silhouette Cameo to die cut my sign carrying turkey and then I colored him with Copic markers and some Wink of Stella.  I stacked the image three deep to give him some depth.

This card is on my blog today, and I'd love for you
to visit me whenever you can.

Boo-yah

Hi everyone!  It's Susie and I'm here to show you this card using

I just adore this little ghost...he looks mischievous.  Don't you think?  He is on an Action Wobble...so he rocks back and forth and truly is funny to watch!

I used my Silhouette Cameo to die cut my ghost and also the sentiment.  I stacked each three deep and I love the way it looks!!

Halloween Hootenannies

Hi everyone!  It's Susie here and I just have to show you some of the Halloween Hootenannies tags that I am currently coloring.

I thought this would be a fun way for my daughter to write notes for the boys' lunch boxes in October.  I printed out a bunch of these and then cut them
out with my Silhouette Cameo.  I also cut out a black mat for
each and then a plain white version for the very back.

I thought if each tag had a white space on the back, note writing
would be easier.  Turns out she loves them!

These cuties are on my blog today, and I'd love for you
to visit me whenever you can.

Have a great day!

New Little One

Hi everyone!  It's Susie here and I just can't stop using the Baby Sentiments digital stamp set!

A few weeks ago I made a card using this set and it was all pink and flowery.  So I just couldn't resist making a card for a little boy.  This one is much more tailored and suited for a baby boy.

You simply must check out the Baby Sentiments digital stamp set.  It has five beautiful images for you to download and make into lovely cards.  Depending on your recipient, I think each image could be colored for either a sweet baby girl or boy.  Be sure to check it out!

You're the Mac to My Cheese

Hello Friends!  Here's an unexpected card for you!!

Call me crazy, but I don't think expressing your love should be restricted to Valentine's Day.  I made this card for my daughter's birthday a few weeks ago.  Mac n Cheese is a big deal at her house filled with little boys....so this card was perfect for her.  She said it made her laugh out loud.

You simply must check out the Valentine Punnies digital stamp set. Even though the name says Valentine, you don't have to use it only in February.  Puns are ALWAYS fun....so think outside the box and see if this set is right for you and right for any month.

This card is on my blog today, and I'd love for you to visit me whenever you can.

Have a great day!

Some Days You're the Cat....

Hello Friends!  Susie here with a card sure to brighten somebody's day!

If you've ever had a bad day, you can relate to this saying!  I don't like days I'm the mouse, but I love days I'm the cat.

You simply must check out the Paws I Care digital stamp set.  It has some super cute images and sayings and I think you just might find you need it in your collection.

This card is on my blog today, and I'd love for you to visit me whenever you can.

Have a marvelous (BE THE CAT) day!

You're the Salt to my Pepper

Hi Friends!  Susie here with a card to inspire you today.

I used the Whimsie Doodles Salt & Pepper image as the focal point of my card.  I know that Valentine's Day has passed...but that doesn't mean we can't still tell our loved ones how we feel.  Don't you think someone in your life would like to be reminded of how special they are to you?  This is the perfect image for that!!  And if you add a heart to your card....you will REALLY be expressing how you feel!

This card is on my blog today and I'd love for you to visit me whenever you can.

Have a wonderful day!!

Jelly Bean Love

Hi Friends!  Susie here with another fun bunny card for you.

I used the Whimsie Doodles Jelly Belly image as the focal point of my card  This bunny and his love of jelly beans just makes me giggle!  After I colored the image, I matted it with plenty of layers so that it would really stand out.  I love the soft colors accented by the black.

This card is on my blog today and I'd love for you to visit me whenever you can.

Bunny's Basket - Some Easter Wishes for You

Hi Friends!  Susie here with a bright and happy Easter card.

I used the Whimsie Doodles Bunny's Basket image as the focal point of my card  I think this is the cutest bunny ever!  A real charmer.

I rarely (if ever) use the color purple.  It took me a few tries to get this one right, but I'm glad I kept trying.  She is coming your way to wish you a happy spring and a happy Easter too.

This card is on my blog today and I'd love for you to visit me whenever you can.

Have a wonderful day!!

Let's Chat Soon

Hi Friends!  Susie here with another shaker card for you.

I used the Whimsie Doodles Ladybug Day image as the focal point of my shaker.  I thought these two ladybugs were adorable - perhaps they are on a fun outing together.

As you know, I love making shaker cards.  And I love making the image just the right size for my project each time. This was an easy image to color and I am thinking it would be really easy to mass produce this card.

This card is on my blog today and I'd love for you to visit me whenever you can.

Have a wonderful day!!

How Ewe Doin' ?

Susie on board today with just the silliest card ever.  I can't lie.  Every time I look at this image, I giggle a little.

The image is called How Ewe Doin'.  Doesn't that remind you of Joey from Friends?  Oooooops, am I dating myself here?  After you click on the link, scroll down toward to bottom of the page to find this great digi.

Because gold is so in style right now, I decided to add some to my card.  The gold strip toward to bottom is Washi tape.  The picture does not do the shine justice!  Then I added the die cut frame and the enamel hearts.  Swoon!

This card is on my blog today and I'd love for you to visit me whenever you can.

Have a wonderful day!!

You Color My World - with Copic Abby

Happy Sunday Whimsie Doodles Fans!

Susie here today to share with you a really great digi - maybe one we all can relate to because she has Copic markers in her hands!

I LOVED coloring Copic Abby.  I think you will too because you could make those markers into any brand you like!  She is on our WHAT'S NEW PAGE.  Just scroll down a little past the middle of the page to find her.

I couldn't resist making Copic Abby into a shaker card because I just knew I could use lots of colored sequins to go with my "You Color My World" theme.  Super fun!

If you love to color, or know friends who do, you will need this digi.  What friend wouldn't love getting a card like this from you in her mailbox?

Stay doodlelicious and have a wonderful day!

#Thank You

Hi Friends!
Susie here to bring you the premier post of 2015. This is my first post as a Doodlelicious Diva, so I thought an introduction would be nice.

My name is Susie Cannon Moore.  I am married to my soul mate Randall and between us we have five grown children - four boys and one girl.  We are also blessed to have eight wonderful grandchildren.  We live in a small country town – Maypearl, Tx where we own a scrapbooking bed and breakfast.

I have been paper crafting all my life…but started scrapbooking seriously in 1998.  It has been full throttle ever since.  My motto is, “A day without scrapbooking?  Not if I can help it.”  And I’ve tried to live by that all these years.

I've been published in a few magazines and have even been on HGTV.  What an experience!

I scrapbook digitally these days, but still love using paper and tools for card making.  Using digis is especially wonderful as I am a computer nerd too.  The Whimsie Doodles digis have been a favorite of mine for years!

So, that's a little about me.  Let me show you my first card as a Diva:

I used the new Latte Lizzie image and colored her with Copic markers.  I am obsessed with shaker cards right now, so she became the focal point of this shaker.  FUN FUN FUN!!

Be sure to check out the newest digis and stay tuned because we will have another new release on the 5th of this month.

Thanks for stopping by.  We are honored that you chose to spend some of the first day of the brand new year with us.

See you soon!

Susie
