In A Jam?

Judy here~! Today I am sharing a shaped card I made using the new In A Jam digi that was released this month!
Isn't this little set cute?
I printed mine out to be about 5x5 inches and then cut both the printed front and back out at the same time.
I paper pieced most of the jar and added a little crocheted flower and pearl center for some dimension. The quote is printed on the inside of the card.

I love that this can be a big greeting~!

Owl Always Be Your Friend

There are some adorable new images for Valentine's Day in the Whimsie Doodles Store! Today I am sharing one from Valentine Gift Tags. Isn't this owl DARLING?
I printed it twice on white cardstock to pop it up, and then colored it using Copic markers. I pieced the eyes to match the background paper. The sweet little sentiment says "Owl always be your friend."

Take a look at the entire Valentine Gift Tags Collection here.

Warm Winter Wishes

I love making winter cards using different shades of blues and whites/creams. Most years I send out New Year's greetings instead of Christmas, because I have more time to write personal notes. I usually make a different card for everyone, and don't do assembly line creating. This one uses an image from the Holiday Sentiments Collection. My favorite embellishments are shabby bows, pearls and rhinestones -- and glitter!  The snowflake behind the sentiment has a beautiful glittery sheen.

Here is the entire Holiday Sentiments collection -- I love the different fonts in this one!

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful New Year filled with lots of crafting time!

Embrace Your Inner Elf!

I love this cute little set called Inner Elf. It comes with two kinds of elf shoes and a sweet sentiment:
I printed my images on Whisper White cardstock and colored in using a variety of alcohol and water-based markers. I added some Sparkling Snow Glitter to the heels and cuffs of my shoes. The reds and greens are so hard to photograph. They actually DO match IRL. :)

I am actually getting kind of excited about Christmas! My kids will all be home and we will have a grand time. Better embrace my inner elf....

Snow Friends

Today I am sharing a winter creation using Snow Friends. I think these two snowmen are the cutest! We don't have any snow where I live yet, but I know lots of people have gotten it already~!
I printed my images on Georgia Pacific White cardstock and then colored in using Copic markers.
I added some Crystal Stickles to the stars and also to make a little snow. The inside shows the sentiment that comes with the set:
My designer paper is by My Mind's Eye from the Merry Little Christmas 6x6 Collection.

Got Any Nuts in Your Family?

I am sure everyone would probably answer "yes" to that question! And if you ask my family, I am sure they would say me! I mean, after all, who else gets excited about paper? And little embellishments smaller than a dime? Yep, that's you I'm talkin' about too!  :)

One of the new October releases at Whimsie Doodles is this adorable digital image called Family Nuts. I printed it out on X-Press Copic Blending cardstock and then colored in using Copic markers. I added some sparkle to the acorns with my Spica Glitter pens, but of course the photo doesn't want to show you that!
I used Jen's Deconstructed Sketch #75 for my layout, turning it on its side, and moving the large panel over a smidge. I also changed the sentiment placement to fit with my design.

My designer paper is from My Mind's Eye Ooh La La Collection. I used two ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon. Silk leaves, a button tied with string and it's ready to mail -- to one delightfully nutty family member!

Pick of the Patch!

I hope it is a beautiful fall day where you are! I had planned to take pictures of the leaves around our neighborhood park, but we had 65 mph gusts yesterday and all the leaves are blowin' in the wind!
But this sweet little new digi from Whimsie Doodles, called Pick of the Patch, is sure to bring a fall smile to the card's recipient!
I printed my image on X-Press Copic Blending Cardstock and then colored with Copic markers. I punched out two rows of grass and then sponged the edges for dimension. Some pretty new Prima flowers, luscious ribbon, and Pick of the Patch is ready for the mail!

There are so many new CUTE fall images. Be sure to check them all out!

I'm Nuts!

The leaves are falling here, and all the squirrels are carrying things in their chubby little cheeks. This adorable new release, Nuts About You, is perfect for our fall weather! I love that this image can easily be suited for a masculine or feminine greeting!

The main image is printed on Georgia Pacific CS and then colored with Copics. I paper pieced the acorn and then used the same paper (Cosmo Cricket Nutmeg) for the sentiment. A little bling and ribbon, and my two nutty squirrels are ready for the mail!

Have you all seen the NEW and ADORABLE images released last Friday, October 5th? If you missed the release, you can see ALL the images HERE and purchase them at the Whimsie Doodles' Store!

Frankie's Girl

I love Halloween! I think it comes from being an actress/director, and in the theater a lot. It's so fun to dress up! And I love making Halloween cards - especially when the images are so cute, like this one!
My card today is made using Frankie's Girl, one of the adorable Halloween images at Whimsie Doodles. Designer paper is from Basic Grey's Eerie Paper Pad.
I printed her out on X-Press Copic Blending Cardstock and then colored in using these Copics (incl. Clear Spica Glitter and BV29 and E33):
I added some glittery die cuts from K & Co. (candelabra and bat), rolled flowers in black, green, and purple felt, and some beautiful black and white ribbon.
The inside is decorated with a Martha Stewart web punch and more K & Co. glittery goodness:

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Trick or Treat!

Hello! Doodlelicious Diva Judy here today
to share one of the fun new releases!

I LOVE having cute sentiments that are versatile for cards
and packaging and gift items, and these
new Halloween Sentiments 2 surely fit that description!

I printed my sentiment on designer paper (from my LSS who decided to cut off the name and collection - sorry!)
and then added Mint Spica Glitter pen to the letters.
You can see all the sparkle and shine here (click for a close-up!):
I think that last little ghost on the left thinks he is getting pulled along too hard and is trying to keep up with the rest of the group!
The house, bat and ghosts are by K & Co.
The fence punch is from Martha Stewart.

Here is the simple inside:
