I find you a-peel-ing Valentine!

Hello and happy Friday everyone, Brianna here with you all for today's post. I am trying to get a bunch of my valentines cards and gifts out of the way since it will be here in a few short weeks. So I decided to make a cute little tag to go on a little white gift bag, that I am going to fill with valentine treats. I used one of the tags, from the "Valentines Tag" digi stamp set.

I think these tags will make a perfect addition to any of your valentine treats and gifts.
Thank you all for stopping by and have a great weekend!!

You've Got the Write Stuff!

Hi everyone! Laura here... anyone working on last minute Valentine's today?? Whimsie Doodles has some of the best tags for classroom Valentine's, and I've got a pretty simple one to show you today.

These are the Valentine's my daughter and I made for her First Grade class. We used one of the tags from the Valentine Gift Tags set. The kids get so much candy on days like this, it's nice to have a non-candy alternative! I printed up the tags, colored in the pencils with my Copics, and then glued each tag onto a scalloped rectangle backing.

We found some cute pencils at Target (gotta love the Dollar Spot!), and also a roll of washi tape, that we used to attach the pencils to the back of the tags.

30 Valentine's later, and we're done! These came together really fast, and would be ideal for any Last Minute Lucy's out there (like me!).

That's all I have for you today! Thanks for visiting!

Looks a bit fishy to me...

Hello there, Mary J here with another Whimsie Doodle inspiration post!  Have you seen the new digis in the shop yet?  They are soooo cute!  Here is my card using the sweet fish image in the Valentine Gift Tags set...

They are so much fun and I love the font of the matching sentiment too!  I matched them up with papers from the Echo Park Country Drive collection and kept the design simple because you don't need anything else with that fab image!

I'm off now - thanks for visiting and see you soon!

Valentine Gift Tags...

Hello Everyone!

Marlene here from ScrappinCookie!

Can you believe today is the LAST day of January?! That only means that Valentine's Day is TWO weeks away! And to me that means its time to start working on those School Valentine Treats.

I made some Chocolate Treat Boxes with Whimsie Doodles "Valentine Gift Tags" in mind. The "Valentine Gift Tags" can be found in the "Whats New" Section of the Whimsie Doodles Store for the month of Febraury, afterwards look for them in the "Valentine's" Section.

These adorable "Valentine Gift Tags" come complete with a Valentine Saying and "To:/From:" sentiments. Perfect for the lid of my Chocolate Treat Boxes.

My two boys are also HUGE Whimsie Doodles Fans, so when they heard I was going to use the Whimsie Doodles "Valentine Gift Tags" they ran to grab their colored pencils to show off their "coloring skills".

Not only does the "Valentine Gift Tags" Collection include two print sheets with the gift tags, but ALSO EIGHT(8) individual images with sentiments that can be used to make a matching card for the Teacher.

I used this month's Whimsie Doodles' "FEELING SKETCHY" Challenge sketch to create my card. I rotated the sketch 90 degrees to the right and flipped it horizontally. Thats the fun part about sketches, you can flip 'em, rotate  'em, and change their size. Be sure to check out all the details about the challenge HERE, ends February 13th.

My little "Wild About You" Monster was colored in using PrismaColor Pencils.

I hope to see you use Whimsie Doodles "Valentine Gift Tags" on your Valentine Treats this year.

Don't forget to join us on FEBRUARY 5th for Whimsie Doodles' February Release. You won't want to miss it!

Chocolate + Tags = Happy Valentine's

 Hi there!

It's Laura here and I have a new project to share today.  I chose to play with these adorable Valentine gift tags!  I decided to wrap up a few chocolate bars for my boys for Valentine's Day, I printed them up a little larger so that they fit the front of a large chocolate bar nicely.  Being the Mom of all boys, I  loved that there were a nice mixture of boys' and girls'  style images.

Here is a look at how they turned out....

Aren't they just darling?  I paired them up with a few die cuts and buttons and twine... pretty simple for my boys, but fun too!  Of course, they would make great school Valentine's as well ... but my college boy's don't give out Valentine's ! tee hee  I love that I can even stick a gift card under the label, for their favourite coffee joint!

You can find this cutie and more great digis in the Whimsie Doodles Store!
Also don't forget to pop in daily to see what the rest of the DT is creating and remember it's not too late to play along with this month's challenge

Thanks for visiting!

Owl Always Be Your Friend

There are some adorable new images for Valentine's Day in the Whimsie Doodles Store! Today I am sharing one from Valentine Gift Tags. Isn't this owl DARLING?
I printed it twice on white cardstock to pop it up, and then colored it using Copic markers. I pieced the eyes to match the background paper. The sweet little sentiment says "Owl always be your friend."

Take a look at the entire Valentine Gift Tags Collection here.

Be sure to check out our current challenge HERE. Three more days to enter for a chance to be the next WD Guest Artist!
