Bunny balloon

Hello!!!

Patricia here with a little inspiration for you. This is going to be the last card I make for the team. I am leaving the team to pursue new goals. I had a great time and I hope you enjoy the cards I made with the images.

This card is made with the no line technique using Bunny and balloon. One of the sweetest images in the Whimsie Doodles shop (at least I think so). I colored it with Copic and pencils on top.

As you see it is a very CAS card. I added the sentiment and some lines and hearts drawn by hand.

I hope you liked the card and you can enter the challenge that it is taking place this month

Hugs,

Patricia

Let it go..

Hello!!

Patricia here  with some inspiration today. This stamp is in the What's new section of the Whimsie Doodles shop and it is called Let it go Abby.

I colored it with Spectrum Noir and Copic markers. I don't have the colors for the stamp. And I made a simple background (I have made it several times already) using partial embossing and a clear stamp with black ink.

I hope you like the card I have for today.

Hugs,

Patricia

They stamps were stamped with Versamark ink and then heat embossed. The sentiment with white embossing powder and the rest with clear embossing powder.

Basically that is all the card I have for today. I hope you like it!!!

Inspiration with Love Abby

Hi!!!

Patricia here to give you some inspiration with Whimsie Doodles images. I love this images, don't you? They are sweet and cute.

I am using Love Abby, you can find it in the section of What's new of the shop. I usually color my images and then decided how to make the card. It usually works but sometimes I have problems. With this one it was really easy. I wanted to give her some soft colors and I have the perfect inks and embellishments (but I didn't know until I finished the card!).

The pearls are Perler beads that I melted in the oven. There are several tutorials you can find in Youtube. It works pretty well.

I hope you liked the card and you can enter in our challenge!!! For more details check my blog.

Hugs,

Patricia

Science girl

Hello!!!

Patricia  here with a new card. I made this card thinking in my past (yes, I was a science girl) and all the friends I have that are still wearing the lab coats. I thought on giving you some inspiration with my card, I hope I succeed.

The image is called Science Girl and you can find it in the People's section of the Whimsie Doodles shop. I made the background with some clear stamps and purple markers.

For more details about the card visit my blog.

I hope you like the card. I enjoyed so much making it!

Honey bee

Hello!!!

Patricia here. I have a great card for Valentine's day!! Isn't she cute!!! I hope you feel inspired with this card with a Whimsie Doodles image. Her name is Honey Bee and you can find her in the Valentine section of the shop

For the background I stamped some bees and honey jars. I think they are from Stampin' up. I colored them with Spectrum Noir markers. That cardstock wasn't very good with the markers so I didn't even try to blend colors. But I like the result. I hardly ever use patterned paper in my cards, mostly because I don't have much (and I don't want to buy it) and what I have is not as cute as I would like for my cards, so it was nice to make my own patterned paper. I will do that more.

I hope you like the card!! For details about the colors visit my blog here.

I colored the image using Copic and Spectrum Noir markers. The background is embossed with an embossing folder from Darice.  For more details about colors visit my blog here

I hope you liked the card and you can wish a Happy Canada Day to someone!!

Smile

Hello!!!

Patricia here this week with my inspiration post. I am using two digital stamps this time. They are called Carrot for you and Carrot wagon and you can find them in the What's new section of the Whimsie Doodles shop.

I colored the bunnies with Spectrum Noir markers and I fuzzy cut them. I liked the idea of putting the little bunny with the carrot behind the wagon but it look like he was stealing carrots, haha. So better this way.

I used a patterned paper from DCWV, probably from 6 years ago or so. As you probably know by now I hardly ever use patterned paper, so I have a lot because I bought several stacks when I started crafting.

I hope you like the card. Remember that we have a challenge going and the new one will start the 15th. For more details about the card, visit my blog.

Have a good rest of the week.

Hugs, Patricia

Thank you card

Hello!!!

Patricia here to show you the card I made with an image from the last new release.

I am using the image called Abby in hat.You can find her in the shop. I colored the image with watercolors for a change. I hope you like the result. I think this was the second time I tried watercolors in a stamp, so I still have a lot to learn.

The background is colored with distress inks and then I used some stitched diets and embossing folder to make the texture.  You can find more details about my card in my blog

Don't forget to participate in this month's challenge. The theme is Teacher appreciation or graduation.

Hugs, Patricia.

Some hugs for everyone...

Hello!!!

Patricia here to show you some inspiration with Whimsie Doodles images.

I hope you like this card I made with the image called Leah's Secret. You can find this image and others in this page of the shop

Instead of thinking that she was keeping a secret I wanted to think she was blowing a kiss. I really like to make CAS cards. I don't know very well how to do cards with a lot of embellishments. Besides, I like flat cards because they are easier to mail and not so expensive.

The image is colored with Spectrum Noir markers mainly, but the face is colored with Copic markers. If you want to know more details about this card, you can check my blog

I hope you like the card and you have the time to go to the Whimsie Doodles blog to play this month's challenge.

Hugs, Patricia.

I colored it mainly with Spectrum Noir markers but the skin is colored with Copics. For the background I used pigment inks and a circle stencil. For more details you can go to my blog
