4x4 Valentine Messages Notecards...

Hello Doodlelicious Fans!

Marlene here from ScrappinCookie!

I'm so happy you have come to join me today at the Whimsie Doodles Blog.

Valentine's Day is less than ONE WEEK away, have you started on your Valentine's Day Cards? Today I have some really quick and easy 4x4 Valentine Notecards made with the Whimsie Doodles' "Valentine Messages" Digital Stamps.

The "Valentine Messages" Digital Stamp Collection contains six(6) JPEG images and a quick print sheet for each. I only used four(4) out of the six(6) images included. You can find the "Valentine Messages" Digital Stamp in the Valentine Section of the Whimsie Doodles Store.

These little notecards are PERFECT for teachers, co-workers, friends, family, etc. I simply resized them to 2 -1/8" in Mircosoft Word, printed them out and used my Spellbinders Nestabilities Lg Circles to cut them out.

To keep the 4x4 notecards simple, I just used some red cardstock embossed with my Sizzix Valentine Set 2 Embossing Folder and scrap pieces from the American Crafts XOXO 6x6 Pad I had left from other cards.

I wanted each notecard to have its own unique look, so I just rotated the sketch as I went along.

I hope my "4x4 VALENTINE MESSAGES NOTECARDS" have inspired you to create your own.

If you haven't already joined this month's January "FEELING SKETCHY" Challenge, you still have time. You have until Febraury 13th 10pm CST to enter for your chance to be Whimsie Doodles' April GUEST DESIGNER. For FULL details, click HERE.

This much

My son is to old to be bringing Valentines to school but I still love to make them.  So what do I do with my homemade Valentine gifts?  Well I give them to friends and not only are they surprised but they love it.   After all other than a significant other we just don't get Valentines anymore.  It just goes to show your never too old for a little Valentine so make one for a friend it doesn't have to be fancy but just as long as it tells them you thought of them. :)
My Valentine gift this year is a candy bar.  You can't go wrong with chocolate right??
If you don't like the "I love you" part you can always change it to "thank you"
Digis stamp used is from Valentine Messages

Have a great day!

I Really "MUSTACHE" You... 8-)

Hi All! Shannon Here, and a Very Happy Sunday to you!  Hope you've all been having a Wonderful weekend so far! Today I'm back to share my latest Whimsie Doodles, Doodlelicious Diva creation featuring an Absolutely Adorable image from the Super Fun Valentine Messages set! They are all so Darned Cute, it was hard to choose which one I would use for my Super quick  & easy Valentine's card! 8-)
This is such a Fun little set!! And Soo Versatile, you could make tags, treat holders, lollipop holders, little notecards for the kiddos to give out and standard size cards too! Gotta Love that! And I really Love how fast this came together as well!  I don't know about you but sometimes it's good to take a break from coloring lol!
I printed out my 'Mustache' message, fussy cut it out, layered it onto an SB Scallop Circle Die cut and popped it up with a bit of foam tape...The only coloring was a touch of R46 on the little dots! lol Though I did add a little shading with Antique Linen Distress ink. My Mats & BG layers were created with red & kraft CS from my stash, my ranger snowcap paint dauber, Sizzix's Valentines EF, a bit of distressing and some  Sweet dp's from Authentiques Lovely 6x6 bundle. And to finish it all up I just added a Cute Medium Scallop Border and a bit of cheery polka-dot ribbon from my stash! Pretty easy peasy, huh?... 8-)

Here's the entire Valentine Messages set... Aren't they just the Sweetest!! You can find them in the Shop's Holiday's/Occasion section under Valentines...8-)

Hope you all have  Super day & Thanks so much for dropping by!
