Pumpkin Time

Hi everyone,

It's Andrea here brightening up your Monday morning with some Doodlelicious inspiration!

My card today features Lizzie's Pumpkins. This image is absolutely perfect for any Autumn/Fall themed card, just look at these awesome pumpkins.
I paired her up with some digital paper in rich Autumn/Fall colours to complete the look. I hope you like her.

More details on the supplies I used can be found on my blog.

I hope you all have a great start to your week. See you again soon.
Happy Crafting

How to make a Faux Picture Frame

Hi all, Melyssa here and I have a card to show you that I started a little while ago but never got around to finishing it. I started by making a Faux picture frame and hanging onto the front of a card.  Then I printed, coloured and framed the image.  Add some embellies and it's done!

Here's how to make a faux picture frame.
1. Cut a square from "wood" pattern paper or wood grain stamped paper
2. Next cut a smaller square out of the center to make a frame.
3. Fold the corners to create a diagnol crease and ink edges
4. Add 3D foam squares to raise the frame
5. Hang it with some twine and a small brad (nail)

Here's my card.

Hey Pumpkin...

Hello Everyone!

This is Marlene from ScrappinCookie!

Thank You for joining me here at Whimsie Doodles today!

Have you all seen the NEW and ADORABLE images released last Friday, October 5th? If you missed the release, you can see ALL the images HERE and purchase them at the Whimsie Doodles' Store.

Today I'm sharing a card I made using the BRAND NEW "Lizzie's Pumpkins" Image from the October Release. You can find her in the "What's New" section of the Whimsie Doodles Store during the month of October. Afterwards, be sure to look for her in the "People Digi's" section of the store.

"Lizzie's Pumpkins" was colored with a mixture of my PrismaColor Pencils and Crayola Color Pencils. I used some Coffee Bean Flocking Powder for the Sunflowers and added some small pearls.

I also added her to the inside of my card. Using MS Word I cropped and recolored the image before printing it.

Be sure to check out the Whimsie Doodles Store for more ADORABLE images.

Don't forget to check back on October 15th for our October Challenge! You can even join us as a Whimsie Doodles' December 2012 Guest Designer! CLICK HERE for all details.
