Ho ho ho!

Hi, it's Mary J again and I'm here with another Christmas card I've made using Whimsie Doodle's Santa & Friends set (again!)...

This is one of the cutest Santas EVER!  I used some Digital Design Essential papers, my Quickutz snowflake embossing folder and My Favorite Things alpha dies.

Okay, I gotta dash now - so much to do before Christmas gets here!  Have a lovely weekend all!

Mrs Claus!

Hi, it's Mary J here!  Have you all got your Christmas cards finished and posted now?  I haven't!  I thought I had mine all done but I have a massive short fall so I'm manically getting them done!!  So, here is one of the cards that I made for my Grandma...

I love this Mrs Claus - her pinny is so sweet and the way she looks over the top of her glasses is classic!  She is from the Santa & Friends set.  I thought the doily die cut would look sweet behind her and I topped it off with punched holly and berries.

Not long now until our next monthly challenge and we'll also be announcing the new design team!  Come back on 15 December to meet them all - see you then!

Chillin' with my snowmies!

It's Mary J here and I'm doing really well with my Christmas cards this year.  Only a little more than four weeks to the special event and I think I'm nearly there with all my cards!  So here is another one using one of the fun digis by Whimsie Doodles calleSnowmies...

I love this digi and the sentiment that comes with it is perfect with it!  You can buy the duo on its own or save money and buy the December collection with 13 fun Christmas images (I got this and it's fab!).

Now if you're waiting to see who the new Design Team members are, please bear with us as we wait for a couple more to confirm with us - we will let you know as soon as we can!

Watch out - it's a geeky Christmas!

Hi everybody!  Mary J here with a Christmas card for my hubby.  Now I don't tell everyone this because I like to think I'm a sophisticated lady (hah!) but I'm secretly a geek and love all things fantasy and sci-fi and luckily so is my husband!  He isn't into my card making either so it's so hard to make one that he likes but I think he's going to love this one - what do you think?

Brilliant image, huh?!  He's called Obi Wan to Kiss and he's just perfect for hubby!  I kept the layout pretty simple - he's certainly not into anything fussy which is just as well with my usual CAS style!  I used My Minds Eye papers and the label and heart dies from the SugarPea Designs Sugar Cuts Layered Treat Label set.

So before I go, just a reminder that our DT call is still open for a couple more days.  Check out this post here for all the deets.  And I'll see you again soon - ta ta for now!

You can buy this little guy on his own or in the Christmas December Collection with 12 other cute and fabulous digis.  I've got the set so you'll be seeing more from this collection over the coming weeks.

You are outta this world!

Hi everyone, it's Mary J here to share a card I made for a little boy's birthday...

Ain't that little fella the cutest?!!  Whenever I look at him, I just wanna say "wheeee!".  He's from the Space Cadets set and the background is from the Background Borders Places set.  I embossed the background with a Cuttlebug folder and used some metallic cardstock to create the porthole.  And I even got to use up some of the hundreds of eyelets in my stash!

There is still plenty of time to join in this month's challenge of Kinda Spooky.  You don't have to use a WD image but we love it when you do!  I hope you can join us for a chance to win a digi of your choice or even get to be a Guest Artist if you do use a WD image!

Thank you for visiting and I will back soon with another Doodlelicious Diva make!

Hello everyone!  It's Mary J here from the Whimsie Doodles design team and I'm here today to show you a card I made using one of the new stamp sets called Miss Adventure: Tea with Abby
now available in the A Jillian Vance Design store.

Isn't she a beauty?  And I love the sentiments that come with this set!  I used a strip of paper from the My Minds Eye Notable collection and dry embossed some white cardstock using my Cuttlebug houndstooth folder.  I finished it off with some twine and a wee little flower for some extra cuteness!

Thanks for visiting and hope to see you again soon!

Friendship is the sweetest flower

Goodmorning everyone, it's Mary J here with another Doodlielicious Diva make!  Today I'm showing you a card using one of the new gorgeous digis called Abby Girl...

I wonder if illustrator Melyssa just looks in her wardrobe and has all of the gorgeous outfits on her digis in there?!  I matched her up with Doodlebug papers and used My Favorite Things flower dies and CC Designs Olive Branch die.

Okay, I am off now but I'll see you again soon - ttfn!

Hey Gill Friend

A very happy Tuesday to you all, it's Mary J here!  I hope you all enjoyed a lovely long Easter weekend and not long now (here in the UK anyway!) for another long weekend!

So I'm here today with another Doodlelicious Diva make using the new clear Seas the Day stamp set that you can buy from the A Jillian Vance Design store...

I love this cutie - just look at those plump lips!  And the font in this set is just brilliant - whimsical yet fun!  I matched him up with Bo Bunny Barefoot and Bliss papers and my Cuttlebug water embossing folder for interest.

I hope you like him as much as I do!  I'm off now but will be back soon - ttfn!

Is it Spring yet? I think so!

Hi everyone - Mary J here with a card that I think accurately represents our UK Spring - that's to say it's still a little chilly in the shade!  I think newbie Skinny Jeans Abby accurately represents what I'm currently wearing - a scarf to keep that wind out!

I used My Minds Eye Notable papers with the cloud and sun die cuts using My Favorite Things dies.  The sentiment is from the Lili of the Valley Simply Sophisticated set.

That's it from me today but I'll be back soon with another Doodlelicious Diva make!

Oink oink!

Goodmorning everyone, Mary J here!  I hope your week has gone well and you're looking forward to a lovely weekend.  We have a cloudy, grey weekend predicted here in the UK so it looks like I'll have to stay in and craft instead - woo hoo!  But actually, I wish our Spring would actually act like Spring - I'm so ready for some sun and warmth!

Anyhoo, I made this card for a male friend of mine and Spring in mind so it's not too girly but hopefully fresh enough...

It's really hard to make a card for a guy with pink in it!  I'm not sure this really worked but for some reason I really like it too!  This is Ollie Oink (what a great name!) and, as you can see, I kept it simple with some Doodlebug papers and a splash of black.

I'm off now but the Doodlelicious Divas will be back to showcase the new release in store tomorrow - see you then!

Don't talk to me until I've had my coffee

Hi everyone, it's Mary J here with a Doodlelicious Diva make!  I don't know about you, but I can't function properly until I've had my first cup of coffee in the morning.  That's why Cafe Lizzie is one of the most perfect images for me!  Here's a card I made using her for a friend who is just as worse as me in the mornings...

I love this girl!  And I really want an outfit like hers too!  And flowing locks.  And a cute button nose.  Not much really!

I'm off now to do a ton of ironing - see you again soon!

Cupcake love!

It's Mary J here with my Doodlelicious Diva card today using one of the beautiful newbies in store called Treat Lizzie...

As soon as I saw her, I knew I had to use this digi paper by Digital Design Essentials.  I love pink and orange together!  I think the butterfly is proportionately too big against that girl though!  The sentiment is by Lawn Fawn.  I popped the frame onto some foam pads for some interest and depth.

You can check out more new gorgeousness in the store here.  I'll be back soon with another Doodlelicious Diva make - ttfn!

Dressy girl

Hi everyone!  It's Mary J here and I hope you are having a lovely weekend.  It's been a beautiful day here in East Sussex.  We went for a long walk along the coast again with the dogs today and it was such a shame to have to come home.  One day we will buy that house with an ocean view!

So I'm here today with my Doodlelicious Diva card using the new and very sweet Dressy Girl...

Isn't she pretty?  This card took me ages to make as I couldn't choose which papers to use so I decided to keep it really simple with some Digital Design Essentials striped paper and used My Favorite Things heart border.  The sentiment is from the SugarPea Designs Gnome Sweet Gnome set.

Thanks for visiting and I'll be back soon with another Doodlelicous Diva make!
