My Bookie

Hi everyone!

Laura here, and I wanted to pop in to share a project I have been working on...

I have been a bit crazy with creating journal and notebook covers lately, and I wanted to make a cover with Miss Adventure - My Bookie for a spot I can jot down books I want to look for when the kiddos and I visit the library. 

(This is one of the super cute sets of CLEAR STAMPS that Melyssa has designed for A Jillian Vance Design.)

I found these simple 5x7 kraft notebooks at my dollar store, and bought the lot of them! I colored Miss Adventure with Copics to match some scraps of paper from my stash, and popped her up on the front. I thought this sentiment was perfect for my notebook!

Baby it's cold outside

Hi everyone!  It's Mary J here today to share this fun Christmas card...

I love this little guy!  He's from the Brrr stamp set and I also used the snowflake stamp from the set too.  Here's a look at the whole set...

Isn't it fab?  I love the little outfits and the igloo - I can see I'll be making quite a few of my Christmas cards this year using this set!  I'm off now - enjoy the rest of your day!

Peeking Penguins

Hi everyone! Laura here today... the Doodlelicious Divas are taking a little break for the summer, but we might just pop in every now and then with a little bit of Whimsie Doodles cuteness!

Today I'm sharing a peek at one of the newest clear stamp sets designed by Whimsie Doodles for A Jillian Vance Designs. This adorable set is called Brrr and includes 2 sweet penguins and lots of fun accessories to dress them up with!

I went pretty simple to show off the penguins and made some little gift tags...

It's never too early to start thinking about Christmas, right? :)

We have a fun little tradition in our house where every Christmas Eve the kiddos get to open one present - a new pair of PJ's. I usually do something a little special with the wrapping and make cute tags for these gifts.

My kids are also crazy little crafters like their Momma, and they love to play with my stamping supplies! They always ask me to color and cut out images for them so they can make pictures or their own cards with them. So, I thought it would be fun if the little penguins could come off the tag for them to reuse on an art project. I created a pocket on each tag, used some glittery stickers to put their names on the tags, and tucked the penguins inside!

Now they can use the little mittens, hat and scarf stamps from the set to dress up their own penguins!
